What is MabuhayVoice Service?
MabuhayVoice is a VoIP phone service that allows you to place and receive calls over any broadband or high speed cable or DSL connection.
How does it work?
With MabuhayVoice, you connect your telephone to your Internet connection using an Analog Telephone Adapter or via an IP Telephone (either wireline or wireless). Pick up the phone, and use it the same way you ordinarily would.
This is made possible by VoIP. A technology that allows you to make and receive telephone calls over the Internet. It converts the voice signal into a data signal (“packet”) that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular telephone line.

There is not much difference. Most often, people will not notice that a VOIP phone is being used instead of a regular/mobile phone. Note however that the voice quality of VoIP will depend on the quality of your broadband connection.
Can I do internet activity like surfing/gaming/emailing while using VoIP?
Yes, you can do any internet activity while you are using your VoIP. Thus, two people can use both services at the same time.
Will my MabuhayVoice work if my broadband service is down?
Unfortunately, no. Since VoIP service is dependent on broadband internet service, anything that might happen on broadband service will affect VoIP service. If the broadband service is down, VoIP service will not work.
Can I use MabuhayVoice if my PC is turned off?
Yes you can as long as your broadband connection is turned on. The VoIP service is working through your broadband connection and not your PC.
How can I install this service at home?
It is easy. Each unit would be provided a step by step instruction manual on how to set-up the service.
Will my MabuhayVoice telephone adaptor work when I travel?
Yes you can “roam” anywhere that has a broadband connection. However, we do not guarantee the functionality of the service if you bring it out of your established installation.
What are the requirements in subscribing to MabuhayVoice?
For Prapaid Account, No paper requirements at all
For Landline Account, since it is a monthly fee, we need a credit card so we can auto debit your account monthly or post-dated checks for at least six months.
For technical requirement:
-Broadband internet connection (recommended speed of 256kbps and above to be able to do simultaneously any internet activity and VoIP call.)
-Any analog telephone set
Will MabuhayVoice work with a dial-up connection?
Sorry but this service is being offered to broadband subscribers only.
I have an existing landline that I cannot give up. What is the use of having a VoIP service?

Is the Internet service included in the package?

How long will my VoIP service be activated after payment?
It will be activated within 48 hrs. Our MabuhayVoice representative will call you to check your local access and then have your VoIP activated. If you were not able to talk to any of our representative within 48 hrs, you may call the Customer Service Hotline to inquire about the status of your application.
